Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Tellcase LLC (“Tellcase,” “we,” “us”) collects, why, and what we do with it. It covers our website at tellcase.com, the Tellcase editor at app.tellcase.com, and the interactives and kiosks that run on Tellcase.
The short version
- We collect what we need to run your account and your interactives, and nothing to sell. We never sell personal information.
- Our website uses cookie-free analytics. We don’t use advertising trackers.
- If your interactive collects leads, those leads belong to you. We store them for you and don’t contact the people on them.
Information we collect
When you visit tellcase.com. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. Our servers also keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security.
When you contact us or join our early access list. We collect what you type into the form, such as your name, email address, organization, and message. The form is run by Jotform.
When you use the Tellcase editor. We collect your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash), your organization’s name, and anything you upload or type, such as photos, video, text, and settings. We keep a record of sign-ins and security events to protect your account.
When you buy a plan. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your billing name, email, plan, and payment status. We never see or store your full card or bank account number.
When visitors use your interactives. Kiosks and embedded interactives don’t track visitors. If you turn on a lead form, it collects the details you ask for, such as name, email, company, phone, and the visitor’s permission checkbox, plus which product or prize they chose. See “Leads collected for our customers” below.
How we use information
- To provide, run, secure, and improve Tellcase
- To create and manage your account and process payments
- To send account emails, such as password resets and receipts
- To answer your questions and send updates you asked for
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations
We may use information that has been combined and stripped of identity to understand how Tellcase is used. We do not use your content or leads to train AI models.
Leads collected for our customers
When a visitor fills out a lead form on a Tellcase interactive, the organization running that interactive (our customer) decides what is collected and how it is used. We store those leads on our customer’s behalf and only use them to provide the service. Our customers are responsible for telling visitors how their information will be used and for having a lawful reason to collect it. If you gave your details at a kiosk and want them changed or removed, please contact the organization that ran it. You can also contact us and we’ll pass your request along.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Tellcase, under agreements that limit how they can use it:

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of Tellcase or others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy would still apply.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information and content while your account is open. If you close your account, we delete your content and leads within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal, tax, or accounting reasons. Backup copies are removed on a rolling basis within 90 days.
How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as secure hashes, accounts can use two-step sign-in, and repeated failed sign-ins are blocked. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects it, as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your account details in the editor, download your leads at any time, and ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, use our contact form. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
Tellcase is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. Kiosks are often used by the public, including families, so customers should not use lead forms to collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we’ll update the date above and let account owners know by email or in the editor before the changes take effect.
